SHADOWHUNTERS!
Guess what... I had the chance to meet the cast of ABC Family's Shadowhunters at New York Comic-Con today! I also got to meet Cassandra Clare herself in addition to the executive producer, McG, and the show runner, Ed Decter.
First things first, ALL of them said that they a.) love the Shadowhunters Wiki, and b.) use it all the time (especially McG), which was really exciting. I asked YOUR questions, which are featured in the videos below!
Here are a few highlights...
- The actress who plays Isabelle Lightwood, Emeraude Toubia, (who is incredibly hilarious and friendly, by the way) said that she does most of her stunt scenes by herself. How cool is that?
- Alberto Rosende (Simon Lewis) was THRILLED to be at his very first New York Comic-Con.
- Dominic Sherwood (Jace Herondale is the notorious prankster on set. And yes, he and Matthew Daddario admit that they really are like Parabatai in real life.
- Katherine McNamara (Clary Fray) is a huge Game of Thrones fan.
- Chairman Meow MAY or may not appear in the T.V. series, they told us to stay tuned on more news about that...
- Harry Shum Jr. (Magnus Bane) was one of my favorites- he is so excited to play Magnus Bane and loves how his character reaches out to the LGBTQ community!
All in all, it was a blast hanging out with the cast!
