Stanley Wells was Ava Leigh's boyfriend. The discovery of his corpse set the Shadowhunters of the Los Angeles Institute on a hunt for the Followers of the Guardian.
Biography
When Stanley's girlfriend Ava was picked for the Lottery in August 2012, Wells had been an easy target for her, so she killed him. As bait for Emma Carstairs, the Guardian had his Followers dumped his body in an alley near the Sepulchre Bar, where he was found by Emma and Cristina. Seeing his body marked with the same language that was on her parents', she realized the connection. She called the Silent Brothers to examine the body, and Cristina took photos that their group later used and analyzed for their investigation.
Physical description
Stanley was middle-aged at the time of his death, and he had silver, graying hair.
