Max Lincoln was the leader of the New York werewolf pack during the 1970s.
History
During the 1970s, the New York vampire clan began carelessly feeding on humans. Because this was a time when humans were being murdered regularly, the werewolves were able to cover up the vampire killings as anything but, just so the New York Shadowhunters would not look into them. Later, Max met with Magnus Bane and asked him to help stop the vampires by talking to Camille Belcourt.
When he found out the vampires were addicted to human drugs, he planned to wipe out the vampires so that the Shadowhunters wouldn't slaughter all Downworlders. This plan came into action during the New York City blackout of 1977, but Magnus intervened and had all the drugged vampires locked up in Hotel Dumort's ballroom for cleansing, instead. Later on, Camille promised Lincoln that the vampires would never be on drugs again.
Personality and traits
Lincoln is known to be a calm and resolute leader, much like "the more famous Lincoln." He is determined and willing to do everything that needs to be done for the safety of the masses, though he is also willing to consider alternatives or some other compromise for a better resolution to problems. He is also a good and effective leader, able to command his pack and listen to them and other advisers as necessary.
Physical description
Magnus noted that Lincoln had a tall and gaunt frame and a bearded face.
