Mark's steed was Mark Blackthorn's faerie steed in the Wild Hunt.
History[]
In 2007, Mark was claimed by Gwyn ap Nudd and became one of the hunters of the Wild Hunt. He was given a faerie steed, like all the hunters, and rode with the Hunt for several years.
When Mark returned home to the Los Angeles Institute in 2012, he was riding his steed with an official delegation from the Courts. The fey allowed him to keep his horse during his stay as both had become attached over the years.
In order to blend in, the steed turned into a flying motorcycle. Mark and Emma Carstairs drove it to a cave on a ley line convergence near Los Angeles where the Guardian had been carrying out his sacrifices. The cave was protected by Mantid demons who, as a way to cut short their escape, took the faerie steed and crushed it between its razor forelimbs, killing it. It came apart in pieces that fell down the side of the bluff.[1]
Physical description[]
As a horse, the steed appeared an ordinary brown color. Being a faerie steed, it could change its appearance to that of a silvery-white motorcycle that looked like it was carved out of bone.[1]
