Shadow World's L.A.
Los Angeles is the second most populous city in the US, and the most populous in the state of California. It is located in Southern California and is the county seat of Los Angeles County.
Found here is the Los Angeles Institute, where the Blackthorns and several other Shadowhunters reside. Tessa Gray and Jem Carstairs also reside them, in a house on the high hills by the sea near the Institute. There is also an active Downworld in the city, as well: Malcolm Fade is the High Warlock of Los Angeles and Anselm Nightshade is the head of the local vampire clan as of 2007.
