Jemima West, born 11 August 1987 in Paris, is a Franco-British actress who is best known for her role in the television series "Maison Close" as Rose. She portrays Isabelle Lightwood in the The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
Biography
Jemima West is an Anglo-French actress, born in Paris, and began an early career as an actress when she was only 12 years old when she appeared in Joan of Arc in 1999. She appeared in the short film Maïwenn. She has appeared in many television movies, French (Madam Principal, Ben et Thomas, Camping Paradis,...) or Canadian (The Company of Ice). She landed a recurring role on 15A, a Canadian series. She also speaks French, and is bilingual. In 2007, she joined Method Acting, an acting school. The same year, she played in the video for Tony Parker's "First Love". It is her role in the famous television series Brothel broadcast on the French channel, Canal +, that made her known to the public. She plays Rose, a young girl who arrives in Paris in the late nineteenth century and finds herself enlisted in a brothel. Season 2 was broadcasted in 2013.
