J.C.'s box is a box that Jocelyn Fray owned that contained items of Sebastian Morgenstern's baby years.

It is a silver box that houses a lock of Sebastian's baby hair, some photographs of him and his baby shoes.
History[]
During the events of City of Bones, Jocelyn was seen holding the box on the anniversary of Sebastian's birthday and crying over it. It is later explained that she was crying for the child that she lost to Valentine's experiments. When Valentine later stormed her house, he was seen to be looking for it. [1]
The box was once thought to have been Jace Herondale's box back when he was believed to have been Jace Morgenstern.
In City of Lost Souls, Sebastian is shown to be in possession of the it for unidentified reasons. He later leaves it in Amatis's house as a calling card for his mother to find. [2]
It is currently at the bottom of Lake Lyn, after Clary threw it in there to scatter Sebastian's ashes along with his Morgenstern ring.[3]
