Granville Fairchild II was the father of Jocelyn Fray.
Jocelyn said that he approved of her marriage to Valentine Morgenstern and loved his grandson, Jonathan. He died in Idris when Valentine burned his manor down with him, his wife, and their neighbors, Michael and Jonathan Wayland, inside. He is buried in the Fairchild family tomb.
