Boris Kashkoff is a mundane who trained for Ascension at the Shadowhunter Academy.
History
In 2008, Boris was recruited by Shadowhunters as a potential candidate for Ascension after their numbers were depleted during the Dark War. He was trained under the mundane stream at the recently-reopened Academy and was among the first batch of new students in decades.
Boris and nine other mundanes—including Simon, George, Marisol, Gen, Thomas, Sunil, and Leilana—were set to Ascend in 2010. On the day before their Ascension, however, Boris chose not to go through with the ritual and slipped away in the night. Both Sunil and Leilana also left the same evening.
Physical appearance
Boris is said to have "ropy muscles and ruddy cheeks."
