–Aron about the First Accords, The Shadowhunter's Codex
In the summer of 1872, Aron was among the ten vampires, along with the forty other individuals with ten representatives each kind, who attended the signing of the First Accords to ratify the thirty-third version of the treaty. He famously called the final document a "compromise of compromises" and was quoted as such in the Shadowhunter's Codex.
The name "Aron" is of Hebrew origin, meaning "mountaineer", or "mount of strength".
